After graduating Tufts University School of Dental Medicine magna cum laude and being elected to the OKU Honor Society, Dr. Goldberg did a General Practice Hospital Residency Program. He immediately went into Private Practice and was invited onto the Faculty of Columbia University in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, an affiliation he maintained for 30 years. He taught many courses including local anesthesia and Practice Management.

Dr. Goldberg was the Director of the General Practice Residency Program at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center for 5 years as well as the Director of the Emergency/Triage Clinic and of 2 of Columbia University’s Faculty Practices. He has a special interest in the treatment of patients with medical complications such as Cardiac Disease and Diabetes and works closely with area Physicians, many of whom are patients as well. He is a member of Dentistry for Diabetics, which seeks to educate patients, Physicians and Dentists on the relationship between Oral Health and Diabetes.

Dr. Goldberg lectures nationally and internationally on the topics of Practice Management and Technology. He was chosen by his peers to be in the inaugural edition of "the Best Dentists in America" in 2004. Dr. Goldberg is actively involved in continuing education and was awarded Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, The New York State Dental Association and The New York Academy of Dentistry.

Dr. Goldberg has volunteered at the DVI Children’s Dental Clinic in Jerusalem since 1984. He makes yearly trips to treat the indigent children of Jerusalem where he works with Volunteer Dentists from over 34 Countries. Dr. Goldberg is on their Board of Trustees.

Dr. Goldberg is also on the Board of Directors of Glide Health, a company that is developing electronic medical record connectivity and communication systems. His experience in advanced Dental Office technologies and connection with senior level executives from Dental Technology and other Corporations has been helpful.

Dr. Goldberg is passionate about Dentistry and also most proud of his family. His wife Laurie, their children, spouses and grandchildren help him maintain perspective and a balanced life.
